I have learned a lot about myself and my way of doing business in relation to other women, and men as well, from this book. It has been very educational and I am looking forward to implementing some new ways of interacting, now that I have this understanding...Enlightening!
This book is a must read if you manage people in the business world, no matter your experience level. I appreciated the explanations of how men and women are raised to perceive different things as important goals, how we innately differ on a chemical level, and how that manifests in actions and behaviors in work. Better than that, though, were the pointers on what to DO to make things better. How to actually get people to work together while still honoring where they are at and excel together. The real-time ideas on how to have the best performing team and be effective as a leader - male or female - were invaluable. I started using them immediately to address some issues with colleagues and they were amazingly effective. Easy to read and worth the time. Looking forward to the next book.
